Sarga 122
न मेस्वर्गोबहुमतस्सम्मानश्चसुरर्षभैः ।त्वयारामविहीनस्यसत्यंप्रतिशृणोमिते ।।।।
na me svargo bahumataḥ sammānaś ca surarṣabhaiḥ | tvayā rāma-vihīnasya satyaṃ pratiśṛṇomi te ||
ഹേ രാമാ, നിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപെട്ടിരുന്ന എനിക്ക് സ്വർഗ്ഗം പോലും വിലപ്പെട്ടതായിരുന്നില്ല; ദേവശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ബഹുമാനവും ആഗ്രഹകരമായിരുന്നില്ല. ഇതു സത്യം—ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പ്രതിജ്ഞയായി പറയുന്നു.
"Rama separated from you, even the suras and sages honouring me in heaven does not give me happiness. It is true and I promise."
