Sarga 122

हर्षेणमहताविष्टोविमनस्थोमहीपतिः ।प्राणैःप्रियतरंदृष्टवापुत्रंदशरथस्तदा ।।6.122.11।।आरोप्याङ्केमहबाहुर्वरासनगतःप्रभुः ।बाहुभ्यांसम्परिष्वज्यततोवाक्यंसमाददे ।।6.122.12।।

harṣeṇa mahatāviṣṭo vimānastho mahīpatiḥ | prāṇaiḥ priyataram dṛṣṭvā putraṃ daśarathas tadā || (6.122.11) āropyāṅke mahābāhur varāsanagataḥ prabhuḥ | bāhubhyāṃ sampariṣvajya tato vākyaṃ samādade || (6.122.12)

അപ്പോൾ മഹാനന്ദത്തിൽ ആവിഷ്ടനായി മനസ്സിൽ പ്രസന്നനായ മഹീപതി ദശരഥൻ, പ്രാണത്തേക്കാൾ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട പുത്രനായ രാമനെ കണ്ടു, പ്രഭുവായ മഹാബാഹു രാമനെ തന്റെ മടിയിൽ ഇരുത്തി, ശ്രേഷ്ഠാസനത്തിൽ ആസീനനായി, ഇരുകൈകളാലും ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത് പിന്നെ വാക്കുകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു.
