इत्येवंवदत्श्रुत्वासीतारामस्यतद्वचः ।मृगीवोत्फुल्लनयनाबभूवाश्रुपरिप्लुता ।।6.118.10।।
ity evaṃ vadat śrutvā sītā rāmasya tad vacaḥ | mṛgīva utphulla-nayanā babhūvāśru-pariplutā ||
രാമൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, സീത മാൻകുട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ വിരിഞ്ഞ കണ്ണുകളോടെ കണ്ണീരാൽ നിറഞ്ഞു കവിഞ്ഞു.
