सीतासान्त्वनम् / Hanuman Consoles Sita with the News of Victory

न पर: पापमादत्तेपरेषांपापकर्मणाम् ।।6.116.45।।समयोरक्षितव्यस्तुसप्तश्चारित्रभूषणाः ।

na paraḥ pāpam ādatte pareṣāṃ pāpa-karmaṇām | samayo rakṣitavyas tu satpathaś cāritra-bhūṣaṇāḥ || 6.116.45 ||

മഹാത്മാവ് മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ പാപകർമ്മങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു പാപം ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയില്ല. സമയോചിതമായി സദാചാരം കാക്കണം; സച്ചരിത്രം തന്നെയാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ അലങ്കാരം.
