Ravana’s Shakti Javelin and Lakshmana’s Wounding
तस्मिन्प्रतिहतेऽतुराघवेणमहात्मना ।रावणःक्रोधाताम्राक्षस्सौरमस्त्रमुदैरयत् ।।।।
tasmin pratihate 'stre tu rāghaveṇa mahātmanā |
rāvaṇaḥ krodhāt tāmrākṣaḥ sauram astram udairayat ||
മഹാത്മാവായ രാഘവൻ ആ അസ്ത്രത്തെ പ്രതിഹതം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ, ക്രോധത്താൽ ചെമ്പുനിറം കണ്ണുകളായ രാവണൻ പിന്നെ സൂര്യതേജസ്സുള്ള ‘സൗര’ അസ്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ചു.
