जीवितं धारयिष्यामि मासं दशरथात्मज।।।।ऊर्ध्वं मासान्न जीवेयं रक्षसां वशमागता।

Transliteration

jīvitaṃ dhārayiṣyāmi māsaṃ daśarathātmaja |

ūrdhvaṃ māsān na jīveyaṃ rakṣasāṃ vaśam āgatā |

Translation

ഹേ ദശരഥാത്മജാ! ഞാൻ ഒരു മാസം ജീവൻ നിലനിർത്തും. അതിന് ശേഷം, രാക്ഷസരുടെ അധീനതയിൽപ്പെട്ട ഞാൻ ജീവിക്കുകയില്ല.
