लङ्कादाहः — The Burning of Lanka

Catuḥpañcāśaḥ Sargaḥ

ततः प्रदीप्तलाङ्गूलस्सविद्युदिव तोयदः।भवनाग्रेषु लङ्काया विचचार महाकपिः।।।।

tataḥ pradīptalāṅgūlaḥ sa-vidyud iva toyadaḥ | bhavanāgreṣu laṅkāyā vicacāra mahākapiḥ ||

പിന്നീട് ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന വാലോടുകൂടിയ മഹാകപി ലങ്കയുടെ ഭവനശിഖരങ്ങളിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു—മിന്നലാൽ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന മഴമേഘംപോലെ.
