लाङ्गूलदाह-पर्यटनम्

The Burning Tail and the Parade through Laṅkā

दृश्यते च महाज्वालः करोति न च मे रुजम्।।5.53.35।।शिशिरस्येव सङ्घातो लाङ्गूलाग्रे प्रतिष्ठितः।

dṛśyate ca mahājvālaḥ karoti na ca me rujam ||5.53.35|| śiśirasy eva saṅghāto lāṅgūlāgre pratiṣṭhitaḥ |

“വലിയ ജ്വാല കാണപ്പെടുന്നുവെങ്കിലും എനിക്ക് വേദനയില്ല; ശീതളതയുടെ കൂമ്പാരമെന്നപോലെ, ഹിമം തന്നെയെന്നപോലെ, എന്റെ വാലിന്റെ അഗ്രത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.”
