लाङ्गूलदाह-पर्यटनम्

The Burning Tail and the Parade through Laṅkā

कपीनां किल लाङ्गूलमिष्टं भवति भूषणम्।तदस्य दीप्यतां शीघ्रं तेन दग्धेन गच्छतु।।5.53.3।।

kapīnāṃ kila lāṅgūlam iṣṭaṃ bhavati bhūṣaṇam | tad asya dīpyatāṃ śīghraṃ tena dagdhena gacchatu ||5.53.3||

“കപികൾക്ക് വാൽ പ്രിയമാണെന്ന് പറയുന്നു—അതുതന്നെ അവരുടെ ഭൂഷണം. അതിനാൽ അവന്റെ വാൽ ഉടൻ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കൂ; ആ കത്തുന്ന വാലോടുകൂടെ അവൻ പോകട്ടെ.”
