सर्वेषामेव पर्याप्तो राक्षसानामहं युधि।।5.53.13।।किंतु रामस्य प्रीत्यर्थं विषहिष्येऽहमीदृशम्।लङ्का चारयितव्या वै पुनरेव भवेदिति।।5.53.14।।

Transliteration

sarveṣām eva paryāpto rākṣasānām ahaṁ yudhi | kiṁtu rāmasya prītyarthaṁ viṣahiṣye ’ham īdṛśam ||5.53.13||

Translation

യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഈ എല്ലാ രാക്ഷസന്മാരെയും നേരിടാൻ ഞാൻ മതിയാകുന്നവൻ; എങ്കിലും ശ്രീരാമന്റെ പ്രസാദത്തിനായി ഇത്തരമൊരു അപമാനവും ഞാൻ സഹിക്കും.
