इन्द्रजित्प्रेषणम्—ब्रह्मास्त्रबन्धः, हनूमद्ग्रहणं, रावणसभाप्रवेशः

ममानुरूपं तपसो बलं च ते पराक्रमश्चास्त्रबलं च संयुगे।न त्वां समासाद्य रणावमर्दे मनश्श्रमं गच्छति निश्चितार्थम्।।।।

mamānurūpaṃ tapaso balaṃ ca te parākramaś cāstrabalaṃ ca saṃyuge | na tvāṃ samāsādya raṇāvamarde manaḥśramaṃ gacchati niścitārtham ||

തപോബലം, പരാക്രമം, യുദ്ധത്തിലെ അസ്ത്രബലം—ഇവയെല്ലാം നിനക്കു എനിക്കു തുല്യമാണ്. യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ഘർഷണത്തിൽ നിന്നെ നേരിട്ടാലും, ഫലം നിശ്ചിതമെന്നുറച്ച് എന്റെ മനസ്സ് സംശയത്തിലേക്കോ ക്ഷീണത്തിലേക്കോ പോകുന്നില്ല.
