Indrajit’s Deployment—Brahmāstra Binding, Hanuman’s Capture, Entry into Ravana’s Court

Resplendent Ravana saw the ogres of ugly appearance dragging the foremost of the monkeys here and there.
The verse contrasts outer power and inner worth: dharma honors dignity even in conflict, while adharma humiliates and brutalizes the captive.
Hanumān is physically hauled into court; Rāvaṇa beholds him amid the commotion of guards.
Hanumān’s resilience is implied—despite being dragged, he remains the ‘foremost,’ defined by merit rather than circumstance.
