The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled

लङ्काया दुष्प्रवेशत्वाद्दुस्तरत्वान्महोदधेः।सामर्थ्यादात्मनश्चैव मयैतत्समुदीरितम्।।5.38.8।।

laṅkāyā duṣpraveśatvād dustaratvān mahodadheḥ |

sāmarthyād ātmanaś caiva mayaitat samudīritam ||5.38.8||

ലങ്കയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുക ദുഷ്കരവും മഹാസമുദ്രം കടക്കുക ദുർലഘ്യവും ആകയാൽ; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ സ്വന്തം സാമർത്ഥ്യം കൊണ്ടാണ് ഞാൻ ഈ നിർദ്ദേശം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചത്.
