स्त्रीत्वं न तु समर्थं हि सागरं व्यतिवर्तितुम्।मामधिष्ठाय विस्तीर्णं शतयोजनमायतम्।।5.38.3।।

tatas tasmin mahābāhuḥ kopasaṃvartitekṣaṇaḥ || 5.38.29 ||

vāyase kṛtavān krūrāṃ matiṃ matimatāṃ varaḥ |

അപ്പോൾ മഹാബാഹു—ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ—ക്രോധംകൊണ്ട് കണ്ണുകൾ ചുരുക്കി, ആ കാക്കയ്‌ക്കെതിരേ കഠിനമായ ഒരു നിശ്ചയം എടുത്തു.
