Transliteration

putraḥ kila sa śakrasya vāyasaḥ patatāṃ varaḥ || 5.38.28 ||

dharāntaragataḥ śīghraṃ pavanasya gatau samaḥ |

Translation

ആ കാക്ക ശക്രന്റെ (ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ) പുത്രനാണെന്ന് പറയുന്നു; പക്ഷികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ. പവനത്തിന്റെ വേഗത്തോട് തുല്യമായി, ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ദൂരദേശങ്ങൾ കടന്നുപോകുന്നവൻ.
