तस्याहं हरिणः क्षेत्रे जातो वातेन मैथिलि।हनुमानिति विख्यातो लोके स्वेनैव कर्मणा।।।।
tasyāhaṃ hariṇaḥ kṣetre jāto vātena maithili | hanumān iti vikhyāto loke svenaiva karmaṇā ||
ഹേ മൈഥിലി, ആ വാനരന്റെ പ്രദേശത്തുതന്നെ ഞാൻ വായുദേവനാൽ ജനിച്ചു. എന്റെ സ്വന്തം കര്മ്മങ്ങളാൽ ലോകത്തിൽ ‘ഹനുമാൻ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായി.
