रामः कमलपत्त्राक्ष स्सर्वसत्त्वमनोहरः।रूपदाक्षिण्यसम्पन्नः प्रसूतो जनकात्मजे।।।।

rāmaḥ kamalapattrākṣaḥ sarvasattvamanoharaḥ | rūpa-dākṣiṇya-sampannaḥ prasūto janakātmaje ||

ഹേ ജനകാത്മജേ, കമലപത്രസദൃശ നേത്രങ്ങളുള്ള, സർവ്വജീവികളുടെ ഹൃദയം ആകർഷിക്കുന്ന ശ്രീരാമൻ സൗന്ദര്യവും സൗജന്യവും സുസംസ്കൃത ശിഷ്ടാചാരവും സമ്പന്നനായി ജനിച്ചു.
