काननानि सुरम्याणि नदीः प्रस्रवणानि च।चरन्न रतिमाप्नोति त्वामपश्यन्नृपात्मजे।।।।

kānanāni suramyāṇi nadīḥ prasravaṇāni ca | caran na ratim āpnoti tvām apaśyan nṛpātmaje ||

ഹേ രാജകുമാരീ, അതിസുന്ദരമായ കാനനങ്ങളിലും നദികളിലും പ്രസ്രവണങ്ങളിലുമായി സഞ്ചരിച്ചാലും, നിന്നെ കാണാതെ അവന്‍ രതി—ആനന്ദം—ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല।।
