भ्राता तस्य च द्वैमात्रस्सौमित्रिरपराजितः।अनुरागेण रूपेण गुणैश्चैव तथाविधः।।।।
bhrātā tasya ca dvaimātraḥ saumitrir aparājitaḥ | anurāgeṇa rūpeṇa guṇaiś caiva tathāvidhaḥ ||
അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ സൗമിത്രി—ഭിന്ന മാതാവിൽ ജനിച്ചവനും ഒരിക്കലും പരാജയമറിയാത്തവനും—സ്നേഹത്തിൽ, രൂപലാവണ്യത്തിൽ, ഗുണങ്ങളിൽ എല്ലാം അവനെപ്പോലെ തന്നെയാണ്.
