चतुर्दशसमद्वन्द्वश्चतुर्दंष्ट्रश्चतुर्गतिः।महोष्ठहनुनासश्च पञ्चस्निग्धोऽष्टवंशवान्।।।।

Transliteration

caturdaśa-samadvandvaś caturdaṁṣṭraś caturgatiḥ | mahōṣṭha-hanu-nāsaś ca pañca-snigdho ’ṣṭavaṁśavān ||

Translation

പതിനാലു ജോഡി ലക്ഷണങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ സമതുലിതനാണ്; അവന് നാല് പ്രഖര ദംഷ്ട്രകൾ ഉണ്ട്, അവസരമനുസരിച്ച് നാല് ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ഗതികളിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കാനും കഴിയും. അവന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ, താടി, നാസിക എന്നിവ പ്രത്യേകമായി ദീപ്തമാണ്; അഞ്ചു ഭാഗങ്ങൾ സ്നിഗ്ധവും കാന്തിയുമുള്ളവ, എട്ട് ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ദീർഘവുമാണ്.
