रक्षिता जीवलोकस्य स्वजनस्याभिरक्षिता।रक्षिता स्वस्य वृत्तस्य धर्मस्य च परन्तपः।।।।

rakṣitā jīva-lokasya svajanasya ’bhirakṣitā | rakṣitā svasya vṛttasya dharmasya ca parantapaḥ ||

അവൻ ജീവലോകത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷകനാണ്; അതിലുപരി സ്വന്തം ജനങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകനുമാണ്. പരന്തപൻ തന്റെ വംശമര്യാദയും ധർമ്മവും കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
