षोडशः सर्गः (Sarga 16): Hanumān’s Recognition of Sītā and Renewed Lament

खरश्च निहतसङ्ख्ये त्रिशिराश्च निपातितः।दूषणश्च महातेजा रामेण विदितात्मना।।5.16.10।।

kharaś ca nihata-saṅkhye triśirāś ca nipātitaḥ |

dūṣaṇaś ca mahātejā rāmeṇa viditātmanā ||5.16.10||

യുദ്ധസംഖ്യയിൽ ഖരൻ നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ത്രിശിരസ്സും നിലംപതിച്ചു; മഹാതേജസ്സനായ ദൂഷണനും ആത്മജ്ഞാനിയും വിവേകത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരനുമായ ശ്രീരാമനാൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
