Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

खे यथा निपतत्युल्का ह्युत्तरान्ताद्विनिःसृता।।।।दृश्यते सानुबन्धा च तथा स कपिकुञ्जरः।

Transliteration

khe yathā nipataty ulkā hy uttarāntād viniḥsṛtā | dṛśyate sānubandhā ca tathā sa kapikuñjaraḥ ||

Translation

ഉത്തരദിക്കിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട ഉൽക്ക ആകാശത്ത് വാലോടുകൂടി പാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നതുപോലെ കാണപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ, ആ കപികുഞ്ജരനും അതിവേഗത്തിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതായി ദൃശ്യമായി।
