Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
लघुत्वेनोपपन्नं तद्विचित्रं सागरेऽपतत्।द्रुमाणां विविधं पुष्पं कपिवायुसमीरितम्।।।।ताराचितमिवाकाशं प्रबभौ स महार्णवः।
laghutvenopapannaṃ tad vicitraṃ sāgare 'patat |
drumāṇāṃ vividhaṃ puṣpaṃ kapivāyusamīritam ||
tārācitam ivākāśaṃ prababhau sa mahārṇavaḥ ||
ലഘുവും വർണ്ണവൈവിധ്യമുള്ളതുമായ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ നാനാവിധ പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ—കപിയുടെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഉയർന്ന കാറ്റാൽ തള്ളപ്പെട്ട്—സമുദ്രത്തിൽ വീണു. ആ മഹാർണവം നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ആകാശംപോലെ ദീപ്തമായി.
