Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

स सागरमनाधृष्यमभ्येत्य वरुणालयम्।जगामाकाशमाविश्य वेगेन गरुडोपमः।।।।

Transliteration

sa sāgaram anādhṛṣyam abhyetya varuṇālayam | jagāmākāśam āviśya vegena garuḍopamaḥ ||

Translation

വരുണന്റെ ആലയമായ അജയ്യമായ സമുദ്രത്തെ മറികടന്ന്, ഗരുഡനെപ്പോലെ വേഗത്തോടെ അവൻ ആകാശത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് പാഞ്ഞു.
