समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

अन्यकार्यविषक्तस्य बद्धवैरस्य राक्षसैः।तस्य सीता हृता भार्या रावणेन यशस्विनी।।।।

anyakāryaviṣaktasya baddhavairasya rākṣasaiḥ | tasya sītā hṛtā bhāryā rāvaṇena yaśasvinī ||

അവൻ മറ്റൊരു കാര്യത്തിൽ തിരക്കിലിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, രാക്ഷസന്മാരുടെ കെട്ടുറപ്പുള്ള വൈരത്തിനിടയിൽ, യശസ്വിനിയായ ഭാര്യ സീതയെ രാവണൻ അപഹരിച്ചു.
