समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

इत्युक्त्वा पाणिना शैलमालभ्य हरिपुङ्गवः।जगामाकाशमाविश्य वीर्यवान् प्रहसन्निव।।।।

ity uktvā pāṇinā śailam ālabhya haripuṅgavaḥ |

jagāmākāśam āviśya vīryavān prahasann iva ||

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്, വീര്യവാനായ ഹരിപുങ്ഗവൻ ഹനുമാൻ കൈകൊണ്ട് പർവ്വതത്തെ സാവധാനം സ്പർശിച്ചു; മന്ദഹാസം പോലെ പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ആകാശത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ച് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
