Kausalya–Rama Dialogue on Exile-Dharma
कृतान्तस्य गतिः पुत्र दुर्विभाव्या सदा भुवि।यस्त्वां सञ्चोदयति मे वच आच्छिद्य राघव।।2.24.35।।
kṛtāntasya gatiḥ putra durvibhāvyā sadā bhuvi |
yas tvāṃ sañcodayati me vaca āchidya rāghava || 2.24.35 ||
മകനേ, ഹേ രാഘവാ, ഈ ഭൂമിയിൽ കൃതാന്തത്തിന്റെ (വിധിയുടെ) ഗതി എപ്പോഴും ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ ദുഷ്കരം. അതുതന്നെ നിന്നെ മുന്നോട്ടു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ മുറിച്ചുകടന്ന്.
O Rama! inconceivable is the course of destiny which is inciting you to go to the forest disregarding my words.
