Virādha-saṃvādaḥ — Encounter with Virādha in the Daṇḍakāraṇya

Aranya Kanda, Sarga 2

तस्यैवं ब्रुवतो दुष्टं विराधस्य दुरात्मनः।श्रुत्वा सगर्वितं वाक्यं सम्भ्रान्ता जनकात्मजा।।।।

tasyaivaṃ bruvato duṣṭaṃ virādhasya durātmanaḥ | śrutvā sa-garvitaṃ vākyaṃ sambhrāntā janakātmajā ||

അങ്ങനെ സംസാരിച്ച ദുഷ്ടനും ദുർആത്മാവുമായ വിരാധന്റെ ക്രൂരവും അഹങ്കാരഭരിതവുമായ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ജനകനന്ദിനിയായ സീതാദേവി ഭയവും ആശങ്കയുംകൊണ്ട് വിറച്ചു കലങ്ങി।
