सोसृजद्दानवो मायामग्निं वायुं समीरितम् । तमिंद्रस्तोयदैः सार्धं सहस्राक्षो महाद्युतिः

sosṛjaddānavo māyāmagniṃ vāyuṃ samīritam | tamiṃdrastoyadaiḥ sārdhaṃ sahasrākṣo mahādyutiḥ

അപ്പോൾ ദാനവൻ മായയെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് അഗ്നിയെയും വായുവിനെയും ഉഗ്രമാക്കി. സഹസ്രാക്ഷനും മഹാദ്യുതിയുമായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ മഴവഹിക്കുന്ന മേഘങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം അതിനെ പ്രതിരോധിച്ചു.
