Concept: Contact with Viṣṇu’s sanctified remnants (pādodaka) surpasses even vast dāna-merit, because bhakti-linked prasāda carries direct purificatory potency.

Application: Keep caraṇāmṛta/tīrtha with reverence; cultivate daily devotion through simple acts—touching/receiving sacred water with faith, humility, and remembrance of Viṣṇu.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A brāhmaṇa devotee kneels at a temple threshold as a priest pours crystal caraṇāmṛta—water that has bathed Viṣṇu’s lotus feet—into his cupped palms. FAQs

It asserts that contact with Viṣṇu’s pādodaka (caraṇāmṛta) yields merit surpassing even extremely exalted acts of charity, emphasizing devotional sanctity over sheer magnitude of donation.

By elevating a simple devotional act—reverently touching Viṣṇu’s consecrated water—above grand ritual charity, the verse frames divine connection and reverence as spiritually decisive.

The verse implies that inner devotion and sanctifying association can outweigh performative or merely quantitative religiosity, encouraging sincere reverence rather than status-driven acts.
