FAQs

It defines the real tirtha-phala as inner transformation—knowledge, disciplined living, and integrity—rather than mere travel, emphasizing purity through non-dependence and contentment.

By praising contentment and freedom from gift-seeking, it supports sattvic bhakti: devotion grounded in humility and self-restraint, where one seeks God rather than social gain or patronage.

It aligns with Dharmaśāstra-informed conduct: regulating pratigraha (accepting gifts) and cultivating saṃtoṣa (contentment) as practical disciplines that protect ritual and spiritual life from impurity and dependence.
