Narada (in a didactic listing transmitted in the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: raudra
The verse functions as a sacred name-list (nāma-saṅgraha), preserving potent epithets used in japa, stotra, and ritual recollection; such remembrance is treated as a means to focus the mind and invoke divine protection and purity.
Bhakti here is expressed through nāma-smaraṇa—devotional remembrance by reciting revered names and forms (pure, fierce, protective), training attention and reverence even when the text is in a technical/listing mode.
It reflects nighaṇṭu-style preservation of technical divine names and epithets—useful for correct mantra/stotra usage and for understanding how specific forms (e.g., Ekapāda, Hāṭakeśvara) are invoked in ritual and recitation traditions.
