The Account of Hanumān

चांद्रायण समं ज्ञेयं शम्भोर्नैवेद्यभक्षणम् । भुक्तिवेलेयमधुना तद्वैरस्यं कथांतरात् ॥ १६० ॥

cāṃdrāyaṇa samaṃ jñeyaṃ śambhornaivedyabhakṣaṇam | bhuktiveleyamadhunā tadvairasyaṃ kathāṃtarāt || 160 ||

ശംഭു (ശിവൻ)ക്ക് അർപ്പിച്ച നൈവേദ്യം ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് ചാന്ദ്രായണ വ്രതത്തോട് തുല്യമെന്ന് അറിയുക. എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഭോജനസമയം; ആ വിഷയത്തിലെ കടുപ്പം പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരു കഥയിൽ പറയും.
