Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links disciplined inner japa (Ajapā) with a clear devotional resolve (saṃkalpa), declaring Viṣṇu as the direct giver of mokṣa and making the practice explicitly liberation-oriented.
Bhakti here is expressed as intentional surrender: the practitioner dedicates the inner repetition to pleasing Viṣṇu (“viṣṇur me prīyatām”), turning a yogic technique into a personal act of devotion.
It highlights practical japa-śāstra discipline—counting/measurement (saṃkhyā) and structured division (vibhāga) of practice—showing a technical, method-based approach consistent with the Third Pada’s instructional tone.
