विलिख्य क्रमतो धीमान्मनुं संशोधयेत्ततः । नामाद्यक्षरमारभ्य यावन्मन्त्रादि वर्णकम् ॥ ४ ॥

vilikhya kramato dhīmānmanuṃ saṃśodhayettataḥ | nāmādyakṣaramārabhya yāvanmantrādi varṇakam || 4 ||

മന്ത്രം ക്രമമായി എഴുതിയ ശേഷം ജ്ഞാനി അതിനെ ശോധിച്ച് തിരുത്തണം; നാമത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ അക്ഷരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ആരംഭിച്ച് മന്ത്രത്തിന്റെ ആദിഭാഗം ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഓരോ വർണ്ണം വരെയും പരിശോധിക്കണം।
