इष्टवगेकृतिश्चेष्टघनोष्टग्रौ च सौककौ । एषीस्यानामुभे व्यक्ते गणिते व्यक्तमेव च ॥ ३४ ॥
iṣṭavagekṛtiśceṣṭaghanoṣṭagrau ca saukakau | eṣīsyānāmubhe vyakte gaṇite vyaktameva ca || 34 ||
ഇഷ്ടമായ വർഗ്ഗവിഭാഗങ്ങളും അവയുടെ നിർമ്മിതികളും, ചലനവും ഘനതയും സംബന്ധിച്ച അളവുകൾ, ഓഷ്ഠ–കണ്ഠവിധികൾ, കൂടാതെ ‘ഏഷീ’ ‘ഈസ്യാ’ എന്ന ഇരട്ടയും വ്യക്തമായി ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഗണിതത്തിലും ‘വ്യക്ത’മായ തെളിഞ്ഞ മാർഗ്ഗം മാത്രമേ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളൂ.
