विपाच्य शर्कराज्याक्तमनंताय निवेदयेत् । गन्धाद्यैः प्राक् समभ्यर्च्यः कार्पासं पट्टजं तु वा ॥ २४ ॥

Transliteration

vipācya śarkarājyāktamanaṃtāya nivedayet | gandhādyaiḥ prāk samabhyarcyaḥ kārpāsaṃ paṭṭajaṃ tu vā || 24 ||

Translation

അത് നന്നായി വേവിച്ച് പഞ്ചസാരയും നെയ്യും ചേർത്ത് അനന്തൻ (ശ്രീവിഷ്ണു) ക്ക് നിവേദ്യമായി അർപ്പിക്കണം. ആദ്യം ഗന്ധാദി ഉപചാരങ്ങളാൽ സമ്യക് ആരാധിച്ച്, പിന്നെ പരുത്തിവസ്ത്രമോ പാട്ടുവസ്ത്രമോ അർപ്പിക്കണം॥২৪॥
