The Account of the Ekādaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months

इत्थं कृष्णो तथा शुक्ले व्रतं चैकादशीभवम् । मोक्षदं कीर्तितं विप्र नास्त्यस्मिन्संशयः क्वचित् ॥ ८३ ॥

itthaṃ kṛṣṇo tathā śukle vrataṃ caikādaśībhavam | mokṣadaṃ kīrtitaṃ vipra nāstyasminsaṃśayaḥ kvacit || 83 ||

ഹേ വിപ്രാ! കൃഷ്ണപക്ഷത്തിലും ശുക്ലപക്ഷത്തിലും ഏകാദശീ വ്രതം മോക്ഷദായകമെന്നു കീര്ത്തിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതിൽ യാതൊരു സംശയവും ഇല്ല.
