Narada (teaching in the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none (procedural limb of an Ekādaśī/vrata context)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that Vishnu-worship is completed not only by ritual upacāras but also by serving and honoring the dvijas—making devotion concrete through hospitality and charity (dakṣiṇā).
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent service to Vishnu (Puṇḍarīkākṣa) and compassionate service to Vishnu’s devotees/representatives (brāhmaṇas), showing devotion as both worship and selfless giving.
It reflects ritual discipline (kalpa-style procedure): the sequence of upacāra-pūjā, brāhmaṇa-bhojana, and dakṣiṇā as a standard completion step in Vedic-Puranic rites.
