वाचकं पुस्तकं चापि पूजयित्वा विधानतः । गंधाद्यैर्भोज्यभक्ष्यैश्च कृत्वा नीराजनादिकम् ॥ १६ ॥

Transliteration

vācakaṃ pustakaṃ cāpi pūjayitvā vidhānataḥ | gaṃdhādyairbhojyabhakṣyaiśca kṛtvā nīrājanādikam || 16 ||

Translation

വിധിപ്രകാരം വാചകനെയും പവിത്രപുസ്തകത്തെയും യഥാവിധി പൂജിച്ച്, സുഗന്ധദ്രവ്യങ്ങൾ മുതലായവയും ഭോജ്യ-ഭക്ഷ്യ നൈവേദ്യങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ച്, നീരാജനം (ആരതി) തുടങ്ങിയ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ നടത്തണം।
