तस्याश्च स्पर्शसम्भूतामवाप मुदमुत्तमाम् ।

सोऽन्धकारे भ्रमन् भूयो मदनाकृष्टमानसः ॥

tasyāś ca sparśa-sambhūtām avāpa mudam uttamām | so ’ndhakāre bhraman bhūyo madanākṛṣṭa-mānasaḥ ||

അവളുടെ സ്പർശംകൊണ്ട് അവൻ അത്യുത്തമമായ ആനന്ദം പ്രാപിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും സഞ്ചരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവന്റെ മനസ് കാമത്താൽ ആകർഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടു।
