Transliteration

adṛśyan tatra gātrāṇi śaraiś chinnāni bhāgaśaḥ

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവിടെ അവൻ അമ്പുകളാൽ മുറിഞ്ഞ് ഭാഗങ്ങളായി ചിതറിയ അവയവങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു; ആ ഭീകരദൃശ്യം യുദ്ധഹിംസയുടെ കഠിന യാഥാർത്ഥ്യവും അതിന്റെ ധാർമ്മിക ഭാരവും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി।
