Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
संरब्धा: समरे राजन् निजघ्नुरितरेतरम् | निधघ्नन्त: समरे<न्योन्यं शूरा: परिघबाहव:
saṃrabdhāḥ samare rājan nijaghnur itaretaram | nidhaghnantaḥ samare 'nyonyaṃ śūrāḥ parighabāhavaḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ, സമരത്തിൽ കോപാവേശത്തോടെ ജ്വലിച്ച അവർ പരസ്പരം ഒരുത്തനെ മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ വീഴ്ത്തി. പരിഘംപോലെ പ്രചണ്ഡമായ ഭുജങ്ങളുള്ള ശൂരന്മാർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ തുടർച്ചയായി പ്രഹരിച്ചു.
