Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition (कैलासदर्शन–बदरीवास–सरस्वतीद्वैतवनगमनम्)

नाशबवनुवं॑ पीडयितु ते तु मां प्रत्यपीडयन्‌ उस युद्धमें दिव्यास्त्रों द्वारा अभिमन्त्रित बाणोंकी वर्षा करके भी मैं उन्हें पीड़ित न कर सका; परंतु वे मुझे बहुत पीड़ा देने लगे

na śaknomy ahaṁ pīḍayituṁ te tu māṁ pratyapīḍayan | tasmin yuddhe divyāstrair abhimantritāṇāṁ bāṇānāṁ varṣaṁ kṛtvāpi na tān pīḍayituṁ śaknomi; te tu māṁ bahu pīḍayanti ||

അർജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—എനിക്ക് അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല. ആ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ അഭിമന്ത്രിതവും മന്ത്രപൂതവുമായ അമ്പുകളുടെ മഴ പെയ്തിട്ടും ഞാൻ അവരെ കീഴടക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; മറിച്ച് അവർ തന്നെ എന്നെ അത്യന്തം പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
