Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition (कैलासदर्शन–बदरीवास–सरस्वतीद्वैतवनगमनम्)
अस्त्राणि मम दिव्यानि प्रत्यघध्नन् शनकैरिव परंतु विचित्र युद्ध करनेवाले वे सहस्रों रथारूढ़ दानव धीरे-धीरे मेरे दिव्यास्त्रोंका भी निवारण करने लगे ।। रथमार्गान् विचित्रांस्ते विचरन्तो महाबला:
arjuna uvāca | astrāṇi mama divyāni pratyaghnan śanakair iva | parantu vicitra-yuddha-karṇevāle te sahasroṃ rathārūḍha dānava dhīre-dhīre mama divyāstrāṇām api nivāraṇaṃ kartum ārabdhavantaḥ || ratha-mārgān vicitrāṃs te vicaranto mahābalāḥ |
അർജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“എന്റെ ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ പോലും പതുക്കെ പതുക്കെ പ്രതിഹതിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നി. എന്നാൽ വിചിത്രവിധങ്ങളിൽ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യാൻ നിപുണരായ ആ സഹസ്രസംഖ്യ രഥാരൂഢ ദാനവർ ക്രമേണ എന്റെ ദിവ്യ ക്ഷിപണങ്ങളെയും തടയാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മഹാബലികൾ അവർ സങ്കീർണ്ണമായ രഥപാതകളും ചലനങ്ങളും പിന്തുടർന്ന് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ദിശ മാറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।”
