पुंनाम्नो नरकात् पुत्रस्त्रायते पितरं श्रुति: । तस्मादपत्यसंताने यतस्व ब्रह्मसत्तम
puṁnāmno narakāt putras trāyate pitaraṁ śrutiḥ | tasmād apatyasaṁtāne yatasva brahmasattama ||
ശ്രുതി പറയുന്നു—‘പും’ എന്ന നരകത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുത്രൻ പിതാവിനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, സന്താനപരമ്പര മുറിയാതിരിക്കുവാൻ പരിശ്രമിക്ക.
