Shloka 159

देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

रसो रसज्ञः सर्वज्ञः सर्वसत्त्वावलंबनः सूत उवाच एवं नाम्नां सहस्रेण तुष्टाव वृषभध्वजम्

raso rasajñaḥ sarvajñaḥ sarvasattvāvalaṃbanaḥ sūta uvāca evaṃ nāmnāṃ sahasreṇa tuṣṭāva vṛṣabhadhvajam

അവൻ രസം, രസജ്ഞൻ; സർവ്വജ്ഞൻ, സർവ്വസത്ത്വങ്ങളുടെ ആശ്രയം. സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ സഹസ്രനാമങ്ങളാൽ അവൻ വൃഷഭധ്വജൻ (ശിവൻ)നെ സ്തുതിച്ചു.
