सहस्रपादसौ वह्निर् वृत्तकुम्भनिभः स्मृतः आदत्ते स तु नाडीनां सहस्रेण समन्ततः

Transliteration

sahasrapādasau vahnir vṛttakumbhanibhaḥ smṛtaḥ ādatte sa tu nāḍīnāṃ sahasreṇa samantataḥ

Translation

ആ വഹ്നി ‘സഹസ്രപാദൻ’ എന്നു സ്മൃതനാണ്; രൂപത്തിൽ വൃത്തകുംഭസദൃശൻ; അവൻ ചുറ്റുമെങ്ങും സഹസ്ര നാഡികളാൽ ആകർഷിച്ചു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു।
