सूर्यरथनिर्णयः (चन्द्रस्य पक्षवृद्धिक्षयविधानम्)

रथेनानेन देवैश् च पितृभिश्चैव गच्छति सोमो ह्यम्बुमयैर् गोभिः शुक्लैः शुक्लगभस्तिमान्
Transliteration
rathenānena devaiś ca pitṛbhiścaiva gacchati somo hyambumayair gobhiḥ śuklaiḥ śuklagabhastimān
Translation
ഇതേ രഥത്തിൽ സോമൻ ദേവന്മാരോടും പിതൃകളോടും കൂടി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. ജലതത്ത്വമയനായ സോമൻ ശ്വേത അശ്വങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം നീങ്ങുകയും ശ്വേത കിരണങ്ങളാൽ ദീപ്തിമാനായി പ്രകാശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
